The theory of chaos says that the flapping of a butterfly's wing at one end of the globe can cause a hurricane at the other. A familiar quote? The point is that a minor impact on the system can have pronounced and unpredictable effects elsewhere and at other times.
The carbon footprint is part of the global footprint, every action we take in this direction, it is like the flapping of a butterfly's wing, it seems very small, but it can lead to positive changes in the future. We have an opportunity, a chance to do everything in our power to improve the environment, preserve the climate and biodiversity on earth, for the next generations. A chance to take part in solving environmental problems and combating climate change, in changing the structure of energy consumed, and in gradually abandoning hydrocarbon and raw energy in favor of alternative sources. The future really depends on us.
Why the quantum bit? A quantum bit is a superposition state, a concept of quantum physics. A feature of superposition is entanglement, a phenomenon in which quantum states are interdependent, that is, changing the state of one q-bit automatically changes the state of the other. This interdependence persists even if these objects are spaced out beyond any known interactions. Does it remind you of anything?
In other words, the q-bit effect can be considered as a global ecosystem, where specifically each of our efforts, each startup, each project creates the venture q-bit effect, the butterfly effect, the positive impact investment effect.
No matter which generation you belong to Baby Boomer-X-Y-Z, all of us, without exception, strive to live a more meaningful life-the investment of influence resonates with our desire to be the creators of change.
